With a history of 110 years of industrialization, the state of Gujarat has been established as a Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical hub with over 400 odd active Nutraceutical manufacturers.
This region caters to approximately 35% food licenses in the country. Most of the West Region states stand amongst the top 10 in Food Safety Index released by FSSAI every year.
Approximately 60-65 % of food import in the country is through the West Region ports.
